TEST DRIVE MEME

Welcome to Imperfect Eden's first official test drive meme! This is where players who are interested in the game are allowed to play any of their characters in Eden's setting before applications and reservations open. As a note, reservations open on February 22 and applications will be open from March 1 to March 10. Eden will then open their gates on March 15! If you have any questions for us, feel free to to ask on the FAQ. And for those who want updates from us as soon as possible, feel free to follow or add us at imperfecteden!

➀ arrival.

Upon arriving in Eden's town square, characters will hear sirens blazing before a loud, female, monotonous robotic voice can be heard, saying the following:

"Welcome to Eden, visitors. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, since it seems that many of you have arrived to our fair place by accident. It appears that someone in Eden accidentally pressed the wrong button which caused this malfunction in our servers, bringing you all here. While we work on fixing the error as soon as possible, we, the citizens of Eden would like to suggest that you enjoy any and all of the accommodations that we shall provide to all of you, free of service.

As a warning, please do not attempt to leave the barriers of this world: it will cause a certain death, and we will not be able to revive you. We highly appreciate your patience, and we hope to send you back to your proper worlds and timeframes soon.

If you have any further questions, please contact the nearest receptionist. Thank you."

Characters are then free to go wherever they please, though from their current location, the nearest building is the town hall. Inside said town hall is a receptionist's desk, along with a receptionist who will answer any and all questions. Depending on the time of day, you'll either meet Sunny in the morning hours and Luna at night.

But just know this: you're not alone. Not at all. If characters wish to explore outside the town square upon arrival, feel free to use the map as a guide!

➁ glitches.

At any given point in time, there may be some minor setbacks in bringing characters home! Feel free to choose from any of the following:

• All of the districts have suddenly lost their meaning! All the snow has melted in the winter district, the leaves on the trees in the fall district are all green, lush, and on the trees, there's a storm brewing in the summer district; not to mention that it's freezing, and all the flowers have wilted in the spring district!

• Uh-oh. It seems that all the power's out in Eden, the place that literally runs on electricity! All communication systems are down, there's no light, and all the robots are running on reserve batteries that may or may not go out soon. And not only that: all the doors are locked, both from the inside and out! Try to use your keys? Oops, apparently now they can't open the doors, either! SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Seems like today the robots are Lost in Translation! Basically, all of the robots are speaking in ones and zeroes, so any issues you may want to bring up with them? It's not going to happen. All your orders are messed up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and sometimes you might get room service when you didn't even ask for it.

➂ events.

It's almost Valentine's Day, so the mayor is cordially inviting everyone to an all-district exclusive party! So grab your party gear, because in every single district, there will be a heart shaped disco ball along with groovy music from the '90s playing. Oh, and don't worry. These robots might accidentally embarrass any couples who many not want a pink-tinted spotlight on them.

They certainly don't know tact.

➃ housing.

Don't you know that you get your own house? No? Well, after a short talk with the receptionist, you'll get your own key to a pretty sweet house, all loaded up with one bedroom, one bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen with a sink and fridge, and a living room with a white couch and a wide screen television. (Pool not included.)

Of course, these houses are fully automated, so whatever you say goes! Feel free to play interior designer or just tell the housing system to redo your house and you'll get what you want straight away! And at the low cost of free.

➄ locations.

Now that you've got a good feel for the place, why not take a good look at Eden? And take a real good look. Eden's full of four major districts: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, along with ye olde town square. Even though it's more of a circle than a square...

So come on down and have some fun in all of the districts! Eden's residents will make sure you have a blast.

➅ pick your own adventure.

Just as the listing says: choose your own adventure! Characters are free to come up with anything and everything, whether it be to wreck the place up or try to find a way back home. It's your call.

[ When Kosaki hears the announcement with her own ears, it takes a while for it all to process before her face turns completely blank before her amber brown eyes widen, completely shocked.

Did she hear that right? She... was in another world and she was stuck there.

The young girl's jaw then drops, along with a loud cry of: ]

Eeeeeeeh?!

[ At least, before she just stays in place, with her shocked reaction plastered on her face, body completely frozen.

This is... awkward, to say the least. ]

2-2.

[ Kosaki was doing her shopping when suddenly, the lights flicker off. Even more unfortunate is the fact that she was wearing short sleeves in the winter district. If only because she wasn't planning on staying in the district for long; her house was in one of the warmer areas, after all...

But it's freezing, and it's apparent by the fact that her body is shaking and shivering tremendously. Her teeth are even chattering as she decides to approach the nearest passerby, asking in a nervous voice: ]

U-um, excuse me... but do you happen to have a spare coat?

[ Of course there are coats in the winter district, but her brain kind of froze along with her body, so it's not exactly processing the same as usual... ]

[Raku is somewhat disoriented and walking around when suddenly... he bumps right into Kosaki.]

Ah, sorry... I...

...! O-Onodera!

[ There's a blank smile on her face when she bumps right into Raku, still completely frozen in place. And then she sweatdrops. And then those sweatdrops become more sweatdrops. And so on and so forth. She hasn't exactly processed the entire situation from to to bottom just yet... ]

[onodere]

[ And then it hits her. Which causes her face to turn red as her jaw drops, again, her face turning pale as she takes a short step back, and then several more steps back, like a robot, her face turning red for a second or two before her head quickly jerks away, one of her hands covering her mouth and lips, causing her to speak in a slightly muffled, yet embarrassed voice. ]

I, Ichijou-kun...! I- I- I didn't know you were here, too!

N-neither did I! That you were here that is. Not that I'm entirely sure where I am either, y'know.

[onodere]

Um...

[ She tries to compose herself, trying to recall what she heard as she played it repeatedly in her head, tapping her chin inquisitively. ]

The voice said this place was called "Eden", I think.

I wonder if Chitoge, Maiko or the others are around anywhere?

Eh? You think they might be here?

[ There's a curious look in her eyes as she gives Raku a SHAFT headtilt. She thinks they'd be better off at home, but.. ]

W-well, if they weren't then it'd be just you and me and...

[Trailing off as his face turns red.]

[onodere]

A, and?

[ Her voice shifts from a normal tone to one that's slightly nervous, if only because the ideas Raku is giving him is pretty... bad.

It makes her heart throb and her face turn a complete scarlet red. ]

W-well, wouldn't it be kind of weird if it was only us two...?

Eh?

[ She blinks once, then twice, looking pretty baffled at what he just said. Just wait a second--

Or a few. ]

Eeeeeh?! T, that's not possible, is it?

R-right, I mean out of all the people from home to end up here... Only the two of us...

Yeah... I'm sure there's other people in this place!

R-right, exactly.

[She nods in response, her grin widening ever so slightly as she fiddles with her fingers, twiddling them nervously. Being alone with a boy, especially the boy she likes is kind of... nervewracking.]

Where should we start first?

Well, uh... I'm not really familiar with the area, so...

[onodere]

I'm not either. Maybe we could ask someone for a map?

I suppose, but how many people carry a map around unless they're lost themselves?

They said... something about a receptionist, didn't they? We could ask them!

Right! Reception desks usually have maps too.

[ She repeats his words reassuringly, clasping her hands together tightly. ]

Ah, there seems to be a building over there...

[ She nods in response as she begins to walk towards the entrance of the building, completely in awe of her surroundings. ]

Ichijou-kun, are you okay...?

[ Once they're inside the relatively huge white building, they'll find a receptionist's desk; it's not that hard to find, really. But Kosaki's in awe because this is just- amazing...! ]

Wow, this place is huge!

Y-yeah, I'm fine.

Wow, this place really is big, huh?

Yeah... ah! I think the receptionist's desk is over there!

[ And she points right at it. ]

[ Sorry, Raku: Onodera's in too much shock at this and can't, well, answer. ]

[Raku isn't sure what to say either, so he's going to try poking the robot.]

[Disoriented and surprised, it takes Lysander a moment to fully absorb what he's seeing as he stands in the square, ornamental armor and garb offset by his bewildered expression. Golden eyes blink, and his head swivels to one side, the bright sun of summer on one side, the floating flower petals from blossoming trees on the other, while he stands in an area that has the crisp feeling of autumn in the air, the trees aflame with colors ranging from red to gold to orange to brown.

Well, this was certainly not the officiation of a new set of Guard Captains as he'd expected to be walking out to when he'd opened the door to the courtyard of the Imperial Palace.

In fact, this doesn't seem to be Creation at all, anymore. It is populated by buildings that were unlike anything he's ever seen, and the residents all seem to be some form of mechanical being, bringing to mind Alchemicals, though Lysander is quite certain they are nothing alike. There's something... A little simple about them.

Nevertheless, he's about to ask one of them what is going on and where he is and how he might navigate back to Creation, please, when the announcement sounds overhead. Lysander's lips turn down at the corners, a long-suffering sigh escaping his lips, shoulders slumping beneath the ornate brocade robes. He still manages to cut an impressive figure, anyway.]

I suppose I should think of this as a vacation, then...

[Aradia cuts a less impressive but rather sparkly figure, herself. The first thing she did when she found herself here was to fly straight up and have a look around from there, but now she's done with that and comes back down to hover near this very fancy-looking human.]

It seems more like a kidnapping to me! Even if it was by accident.

[The sudden appearance of the girl (grey-skinned with horns, and also she flies? But let's be honest, Lysander, you've seen stranger in your travels, even if she does rather resemble Fair Folk, no reason to cause a panic now is there?) pulls his gaze, a chuckle escaping him despite himself.]

Well, I suppose that would be a better description. Doesn't seem to be much we can do for now, though.

[Rhia would be panicking about this point, and he would get to that point before too long himself.]

Unless the Receptionists they mentioned might be able to do something.

[He pauses and his brows crease for a moment before he turns back to Aradia, offering a slight bow.]

I'm sorry, where are my manners. Lysander, House Parsalin.

[That could be a good idea, but manners first!]

Oh! Don't worry about it. [She bows back in kind.] I'm Aradia Megido. Do humans usually name their dwelling places? I never named mine.

[His brows crease in confusion at first, and then realization dawns on his face.]

Oh, no... Parsalin is my family name. Just Lysander is fine.

[He pauses and takes another long look at the horns and wings, though the grey skin doesn't seem to give him any second thoughts, for whatever reason.]

So what exactly are you? If I had to make a guess from my world I'd say Fairfolk, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that the rules of my world don't exactly apply here, and it's equally likely you're from somewhere entirely different.

[As if to illustrate, he makes a vague gesture towards the three visible seasons.]
